My Dear Pray-ers,

We wish you a MERRY CHRISTMAS, (CLICK HERE to see a “fun” greeting from Naida, Coraçáo and myself), as a way for us to encourage your prayer life.

A Pray-er’s Perspective of Christmas

  • The beautiful birth of the baby is tied to the grotesque death of a man. And because of BOTH facts, we have the opportunity to pray.
  • What does that tell us about prayer?
  • It should tell us that this opportunity to communicate was costly, very costly, to the God to whom we pray.

FINALLY, we desire your FEEDBACK. So please CLICK HERE and lay it on us!

Below is an icon for our “Praying in the New Year, with Movies.” They begin this Monday.

  • Monday: Movie . . . Godfather II
    RENT HEARTS
  • Tuesday: Movie . . . Indiana Jones
    CHOOSING GOD
  • Wednesday: Movie . . . The Santa Clause
    SEEKING GOD
  • Thursday: Movie . . . Blazing Saddles
    LOVING GOD
  • Friday: Movie . . . City Slickers
    GLORIFYING GOD

Praying the 25 Days of Christmas is still in full force. Don’t miss these either. Click on the icon below.

Blessings my friends,

Mark

Praying 25 Days of Christmas

We started on December 1st and this has been REALLY good! I forgot how good these were. Please don’t miss them.
This has been a favorite themed prayer tool for the last 4 years. Look at the details and themes every day. 25 Days of Prayer has daily themes, running from Brokenness to Giddiness to Promises. Just CLICK HERE.

Prayer Pillars

From the beginning of Common Thread Ministries we have always realized there is a need for certain, “Pillars” if you will, to be incorporated into our ministry. At our website we have a variety of ways for you to find these pillars. The easiest of which is to go to the HOME PAGE and scroll down to the pillar you are interested in exploring. We will continue to populate these pages with more and more Prayer Pillars.

Praying in the New Year With Movies???

We had a LOT of fun with these movies, Praying a Prayer truth based on a scene in the movie.
You won’t want to miss a single day!

Prayer Board

If you’ve been to our Pastor’s Conferences would you pray for our REBUILT conference January 9th in Fairburn?
If you’ve been to our Prayer Boot Camps would you pray for our PBC’s January 14th and 21st in Columbus and Hogansville?
And, if you’ve been to our Sunday Prayer Intensives would you pray for our January 22nd event at Belmont Baptist?

Donations

Only if you are interested:

  • We are looking for 100 people to commit to $25.00/mos for our Kenya Ministry (See how far along we are).
  • This will allow us to make one part time guy permanent and Mark can return three times each year to Kenya.

Calendar

Lots going on every day. Please take the time to check it out, and, if you will, use it to pray for us. Thank you.
