I run into a lot of people that have never prayed with others. Or they have never even prayed out loud, BUT, every time I lead a group in corporate prayer I hear people say, “We have got to do that again!”
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time. And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle—I am telling the truth, I am not lying—and a true and faithful teacher of the Gentiles.
I Timothy 2:1-7 (NIV)

POST: What a Pray-er Looks Like:
This post began as a Bible Study for myself but has become a wonderful source of a Biblical View of Pray-ers. In fact, there is very, very little of Mark Mirza in this post. It’s all scripture!
People in Mark’s first Novel, “The Pray-ers” model prayer, JUST AS people are to do, today. This 3 minute video gives you a short look into the book, the first of a trilogy, subtitled “Troubles.” You can purchase the book HERE.
