And ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost; for the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

TURNING THE ABOVE DAY’S VERSES INTO A PRAYER

Oh Lord, I confess that while these passages are talking about being “at rest” with You, there are times when I just want to take flight, and be at rest FROM the responsibilities You have given me. Thank You for allowing me, in those times, to curl up into the fetal position, in Your lap, in Your throne room. And so again, I submit anew, to You, as I know that You have already blessed me, even though it may be with more responsibility. Nevertheless, I joyfully tread on again, today, all day.
