Below is what I shared with my Kenyan Ministry Group page on WhatsApp this morning:

Wait on God ACTIVELY

I have waited for Thy salvation, O Lord.

TURNING THE ABOVE DAY’S VERSES INTO A PRAYER

If there was ever a time when I was comfortable calling You my Daddy God, it is here. You have showed me that when I wait on You, when I am patient, my Daddy God does not forget me. Thank You, my Lord and my God, thank You…

NOTE: What do you accomplish WITHOUT waiting on God? Imagine how well you complete something WITHOUT waiting on Him, and now, just for a moment, consider how well it might be completed if you DID wait on Him.

Look at today’s 366 day devo, the focused is waiting on the Lord. But allow me up be transparent with you.

I WANT TO MOVE FORWARD!!! In fact I’m tired of NOT moving forward.

And yet, the Lord CLEARLY has me waiting on Him. I can only surmise that I am not ready and/or circumstances are not ready. Nevertheless, I must wait. And as I wait I think of the words from a Dr. Charles Stanley sermon, “the Lord wants “active waiting” in my life.”

What is active waiting?

Look at the Deuteronomy passage below, one could say that active waiting is waiting obediently

Deuteronomy 10:12
“Now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require from you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways and love Him, and to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

“Coincidentally,” I have been awake in the wee hours of the morning here in the USA, talking to the Lord about waiting on Him. Perhaps I can sleep now.
