HARVESTING: How much do you love the unsaved? In Book 3 of The Pray-ers is a scene where a man is carried to hell by two demons. A Christian observing this (I took some liberty in this novel) says outloud, “I don’t want anyone I know to have to go through that.” And his companion, without judgement responds, “How often have you shared the gospel recently?”

HARVESTING: Again we see this focus on humility, but it is deeper humility, what we might call “the fear of the Lord.”

TURNING THE ABOVE DAY’S VERSES INTO A PRAYER

Daddy God, so often we look at worship as singing and smiles and excitement, but sometimes it is rejoicing with trembling, serving You with awe and wonder, knowing that You are encamped around me when all I see are difficulties. But You deliver me, EVERY single time, and You never push me aside when my spirit is broken and my heart is full of remorse for not trusting You. And then with forgiveness, You then heal my heart. Thank You for being my Daddy God.

HARVESTING: While the Harvest is the Lord’s, He expects us to participate. Do not be lazy, as these verses talk about. Rather, be obedient, and remember the Lord expects us to “work as unto Him.” (Colossians 3:23)
