(OR DID THEY???)
I USED TO. . .
Boost a post directly to those interested in prayer.
Or to those who were Christians.
Or who were interested in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
NO MORE. . .
Facebook removed those direct options. Now, I’m not here to complain about Facebook. They may be large, but they are their own company, and they can do whatever they want. Personally, I think they should be allowed to do whatever they want.
WHAT MEANETH THIS. . .
Simple, this is a wake-up call about your relationship with God.
He is where you get “all you need for this life,” (2 Peter 1:3), not social media.
ASK YOURSELF. . .
Do you spend more time on social media than in the Word & Prayer?
In whom do you put your trust, God or man? Are you sure?
IF SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE, WHAT???
That’s the question, what needs to change in your life?
Where do you begin making changes?
Is there something, “bite-sized” I can start with?
RELATIONSHIP IS THE ANSWER. . .
Not relationship with family members, as important as that is.
Not relationship with your plants, as soothing as that is.
Not relationship with your animals, as fun as that is.
MARK-ISM. . .
Your prayer life is the barometer to your spiritual life.
If that Mark-ism is true, how’s your spiritual life?
DIRTY LITTLE SECRET. . .
Facebook DIDN’T change Christian interaction.
Christians changed Christian interaction.
BITE-SIZED STEPS. . .
-STEP ONE – Run to God in prayer.
-STEP TWO – Run to your spouse in prayer.
-STEP THREE – Run to a close friend, AND PRAY OFTEN & REGULARLY.
I’LL LEAD (ALONG W/OTHER PRAY-ERS). . .
I do 50+ prayer conference calls every week. You can do 1 or 2.
Get involved in one another’s lives, NOT WITH GOSSIP, but praying with/for one another!
VERSES YOU SHOULD KNOW. . .
Where two or three are gathered. . .
Pray without ceasing. . .
Devote yourself to prayer. . .
IN CLOSING. . .
If the Bible is completely true and even trustworthy then consider this. . .
His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.
