Rebuilding the Foundations of Prayer (Psalm 11:3)

My Dear Pray-ers,

Resources, Specific and Sundry . . .

Before I go further let me give credit where it is due. As I looked for a unique “Resources” link-able picture I came across the one above. It is from Cornerstone Bible Church in California, of which I know nothing, but I loved the graphic.

Resources come in various forms. Today’s E-Letter is dedicated to the various aspects of resources.

I love resources! There are FREE resources, books, podcasts, DVD’s and CD’s, and there are even wacko people like me that still have VHS resources (I even have a VHS player to play them on).

But there are other kinds of resources, like the resources in your heart and mind, including the resource of the Holy Spirit.

So indulge me while I show you various Resources . . .

Sorry for the “Yippee” comment, but seriously, I’m in full-time ministry, free resources are great! I love going to YouTube and listening to people I never had the opportunity to hear in person. Leonard Ravenhill is just one of those whom I love to listen to.

And then there are great classic books from the past that I can find free on the internet. I can then download them to my phone or computer and enjoy them at my leisure.

Well, we at Common Thread Ministries think the same way, so here are a few FREE things from us to you . . .

RESOURCE: The Holy Spirit

We cannot forget that the Holy Spirit is in fact a Resource for you. I am confident that you know this, BUT, what do your actions show? In other words, do those around you see you “cower” when you need wisdom? Or do they observe you confidently seeking the Lord for wisdom?

I did a series in 2016, “Praying in the New Year with Movies.” Here is a mini-reminder to allow the Holy Spirit to be your resource. Then you won’t look like Tim Allen here thinking, “What did I get myself into?

Resource: Other Pray-ers

Just today I found myself sending the following text: “I love texting pray-ers.” The reason I sent that text is because a few moments earlier I had texted these folks asking them to pray for a friend of ours, and within a few minutes everyone had prayed.

Get around people that pray, and they will be a prayer resource for you. There is a place where you can find some of them, but they are EVERYWHERE! Click on the picture below to go to our Ministry SWAY for Conference Call Praying. It is short, simple and a bit engaging.

Here is another link regarding our Prayer Conference Calls. We don’t post a lot on it, but we will post more, “With a Little Help from Our Friends.”
