So this last weekend I am standing at my booth talking to a couple about my novel, The Pray-ers and Lisa comes up to the table. I had met her the day before and she left my table with the book. Standing there she, not so sheepishly, interrupted:
She said, “Last night I started the book. I read the preface and then started to read the first chapter but realized I needed to go to the back of the book to read about how to pronounce the names of the demons. After that I started reading the first paragraph of page One and I’m already drawn in. I can’t wait to get going on it. But as soon as I got started I put it down, because I knew, I could tell, if I didn’t set the book down I’d stay up till 2 o’clock in the morning.”
She was a cute interruption. Thanks Lisa!
