O Israel, return unto the Lord thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.

the Promise (from God)

Psalm 103:8-9

The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. He will not always chide: neither will He keep His anger for ever.

our Prayer (to God)

Psalm 28:1

Unto thee will I cry, O Lord my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if Thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

Take each Precept and Promise and Prayer and pray them back to the Lord as one prayer

NOTE: My friend, thank the Lord for His mercy.

TURNING THE ABOVE DAY’S VERSES INTO A PRAYER

Father, how grateful I am that iniquity in my life, sin in my life, makes me uncomfortable. Thank You for being gracious, merciful and slow to anger, even when you are chiding me, when You are disciplining me, for I know that You will not be angry at me forever. In fact, Your chiding causes me to cry out to You, I acknowledge that Your silence lasts only as long as my lack of submitting to You. While I sometimes feel like I may die, because of the lack of intimacy my sin has caused between You and I, I know that You are my rock. Praise You Lord…
