the Precept (Principle)
1 Thessalonians 5:17
Pray without ceasing.
the Promise (from God)
Isaiah 58:9a
Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and He shall say, Here I am.
our Prayer (to God)
Psalm 88:2
Let my prayer come before Thee: incline Thine ear unto my cry.
Take each Precept and Promise and Prayer and pray them back to the Lord as one prayer
FREE prayer helps are always available on our Prayer-Basics-Page
NOTE: I have a friend who handles today’s precept this way. He says, “I don’t say amen until I lay my head down at night.”
