TURNING THE ABOVE DAY’S VERSES INTO A PRAYER
Lord, You call all of us to different occupations during our life. Thank You for the rest that You give us as people of God, and forgive us for speaking so badly of our occupation, for not appreciating it. We trust You to redeem us from our troubles, to Your glory Lord, and we look forward to that rest that You give Your people.
NOTE: Contrary to what we may desire, God sometimes calls us to the occupation of suffering. When he does that, we still “work” unto Him, and not man! (Colossians 3:23)
