Take each Precept and Promise and Prayer and pray them back to the Lord as one prayer

TURNING THE ABOVE DAY’S VERSES INTO A PRAYER
Father, it is so refreshing to read someone focus on the righteousness that Jabez wanted and NOT the expanding of his territory. Let me not allow evil in my heart so that, in the words of Jabez, ‘You would bless me, that Your hand would always be with me, and that You would keep me from evil so that I am not grieved over it.’
NOTE: Interesting isn’t it, that these writers, in the 1830’s sought Jabez’ righteousness, and left out mentioning the expansion of his territory.
