the Precept (Principle)
Isaiah 50:10
Who is among you that feareth the Lord, that obeyeth the voice of His servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord, and stay upon his God.
the Promise (from God)
Psalm 9:12b
He forgetteth not the cry of the humble.
our Prayer (to God)
Psalm 9:13a
Have mercy upon me, O Lord; consider my trouble.
Take each Precept and Promise and Prayer and pray them back to the Lord as one prayer
FREE prayer helps are always available on our Prayer-Basics-Page
NOTE: Humility is a lost art in our time of “slopy-grace” and “beat-em-up” Spiritual Warfare. Make humility a part of your preparation for the remainder of this year.
TURNING THE ABOVE DAY’S VERSES INTO A PRAYER
Lord, I am so grateful for Your Word. Humbly obeying it is often, what brings me peace. When I awake with anxiety, I am calmed as I remember that You hear me and are aware of my struggles. Forgive me Lord for putting so little of it to memory. Thank You for Your Word…
NOTE: Memorizing scripture is not just for our kids! When we memorize the Word we are prepared for God to give us the “nugget” we need…often through our memory.
