#PrayAllYear – May 5 thru 31
Focusing on: Students and Supporting Mature Saints
the Precept (Principle)
Colossians 3:1
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
the Promise (from God)
Psalm 22:26
The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the Lord that seek Him: your heart shall live for ever.
our Prayer (to God)
Psalm 119:19
I am a stranger in the earth: hide not Thy commandments from me.
Take each Precept and Promise and Prayer and pray them back to the Lord as one prayer
FREE prayer helps are always available on our Prayer-Basics-Page
NOTE: Friends, the word “meekness” is often confused with “weakness,” but in error. A meek person is like a horse with all of its incredible strength, under control. See the Lord for meekness.
TURNING THE ABOVE DAY’S VERSES INTO A PRAYER
Father, since we are already placed, sitting with Your Son in the heavenlies, (Ephesians 2:6) I trust You to satisfy me, as I seek You, and since I am a stranger here on earth, I trust Your Holy Spirit to enlighten (John 16:13) Your Word to me. Thank You Father that satisfaction does not come from my having “plenty” but rather with my seeking You.
NOTE: May I meddle in your life a bit? How content are you? And what is your contentment based upon? When you are gutsy enough, reread Philippians 4:11-12
