the Precept (Principle)
Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
the Promise (from God)
I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how He said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
our Prayer (to God)
Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions.
Take each Precept and Promise and Prayer and pray them back to the Lord as one prayer

LIFTING YOUR NATION: I wonder if we would have the social ills in our nation we do, if we, the Christians, would “remember those in need,” and act in kind.
TURNING THE ABOVE DAY’S VERSES INTO A PRAYER
Oh Lord, thank You for the labor that You have given me to do, whether it be glamorous or not isn’t the point, that I have the opportunity to take care of my needs, and those of some others, I thank You. What I have done in the past, You have forgiven me of, what I do now, I do to be the good steward You have called me to be.
