the Precept (Principle)
Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.
the Promise (from God)
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before My Father, and before His angels.
our Prayer (to God)
When I said, My foot slippeth; Thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.
Take each Precept and Promise and Prayer and pray them back to the Lord as one prayer

LIFTING YOUR NATION: When people get to know you, do they see the Grace of God? When your foot slips, do you cry out for mercy? Oh Lord, hold us up again.
TURNING THE ABOVE DAY’S VERSES INTO A PRAYER
God of Grace, thank You for the Barnabas’ that have been in our lives. Often, because of their encouragement, we have stood strong. And when we have slipped, Your mercy, just as our Barnabas advised us, held us up. Thank You, Oh God of Grace.
NOTE: Is there someone that you can be a Barnabas to, or someone who can be a Barnabas to you? Stop and ask the Lord if there is.
