the Precept (Principle)
Isaiah 26:20
Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
the Promise (from God)
Psalm 91:15-16
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him My salvation.
our Prayer (to God)
Psalm 143:11
Quicken me, O Lord, for Thy name’s sake: for Thy righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.
Take each Precept and Promise and Prayer and pray them back to the Lord as one prayer
FREE prayer helps are always available on our Prayer-Basics-Page
NOTE: Contrary to the way we think in the West, these passages remind us that sometimes, even though we are right, we do not ALWAYS have to fight, sometimes we are to rest in Him. My prayer for you is that you will be humble enough to do so.
