We Are Winning

Really? What are “We” winning?

Do you know God’s View of Winning? (is this part of winning . . . Romans 8:28)

Why did it take 53 years to get a “win” on Roe v. Wade? (perhaps some of this is involved . . . James 4:3)

Why does the Bible ask if you’re putting your trust in man rather than in God? (Psalm 118:8-9)

Are you putting your trust in man rather than God, especially as it relates to politics? And how do you know?

What if God’s plan for the USA is different than your plan for the USA?

Whose plan for the USA will win out, yours or Gods?

Can your “mis-statements” thwart God’s will? If you think it can, you have to ask another question, is your God that small?

Do you think God wants you to know His will? (1 John 5:14)

Have you ever asked Him? I mean, have you ever asked God for His will regarding the USA, in the end times?

If you haven’t asked Him, why not? Is it because His will might possibly contradict your will?

Does knowing God’s will change your responsibility at the voting booth?

How does God expect you to do everything you do? (Ephesians 6:7, Colossians 3:23)

Have you recently considered the signs of the times? (Matthew 16:3, Mark 13:3-4)

If Christ’s return is imminent, how then ought you to live? (2 Peter 3:11-15a)

Are you eagerly awaiting the Lord’s return? (Philippians 3:20, 2 Peter 3:14a)

Are you at peace with God? (2 Peter 3:14m)

Are you without spot or blemish? By this I’m asking, do you have any unconfessed sin in your life? (2 Peter 3:14e)

Are your eyes open and your ears ready for those who, themselves, are ready for salvation? (2 Peter 3:15a)

Of the last four questions, if you answered any of them with a, “No,” how might you “correct this” with God?

Is this Mark-ism accurate, “Your prayer life is the barometer of your spiritual life”? If it is, how’s your spiritual life?

For that matter, how’s your prayer life?

Are you right with God in prayer?

Are you leaving things with Him?

Are you trusting the Lord with all your heart?

How do you know if you are trusting God with all your heart?

Does Romans 8:6b give you a hint about your trust and peace?

Does trusting God with politics erase your responsibility at the voting booth?

Do you trust Him enough to do your part at the voting booth, then leave the results of our elections to Him?

Or will you like many Christians ignore your responsibility to even vote?

Are you anxious about our elections?

Have you ever looked at David’s Psalms, where he starts off anxious?

Have you ever noticed the way each of those Psalms end?

“David stays on his knees till things are right between him and the Lord. Not that his issue is resolved, but in every case, he gets off his knees no longer anxious, because he’s trusted in God.”

Romans 8:6 was written with another meaning in mind but I think, with that said, I can apply the verse thusly:

“If you don’t have a mindset of peace about our elections, you’re not putting your trust in God. If you were, you’d have peace even though you don’t know the outcome.”

Let me ask you again . . .

What Are “We” Winning

This might be a good time for you to look into my Divided series of books Which directly talk to our #DevisivePolitics today. The other book series called The Pray-ers might be good for you too. In this series which spans three eras from two continents and two thousand years, teaches prayer from men and women who obviously know how to pray. You will also learn prayer by observing those who do not know how to pray.

These novels teach prayer through the fun of christian fiction.
